Empire Hotel
One of the Upper West Side's oldest establishments still operating under the same name at the same location, the Empire Hotel is considered one of the 'Grande Dames' of New York City hotels. First opened in the mid 1890s, the hotel was completely rebuilt in 1923 and adorned with the iconic red neon Hotel Empire sign – one of the first ever and longest standing neon billboards in the United States. You'll enjoy refined elegance in its 420 guestrooms and an ideal location that is just steps away from Lincoln Center.
